Creating Opportunities
for Pregnant
and Parenting Youth

"I came to Hannah House at the age of sixteen. I was a scared, pregnant teenager who didn't have a clue what all was going to happen in the next year ..."

Hannah House provides residential support services for pregnant and parenting youth in New Hampshire and Vermont as well as local outreach to pregnant and parenting teens who live in the Upper Connecticut River Valley.

Mission Statement

The purpose of Hannah House is to support pregnant and parenting youth in developing independence and making healthy parenting choices, thereby promoting the well-being of themselves and their children. We serve clients and their babies from both New Hampshire and Vermont.

Our Services

Hannah House is a warm, welcoming place.
Within its walls, teens experience family-like relationships of cooperation and support, with the responsibility for self and others that such relationships entail. Here's what we provide:

  • Local outreach to pregnant and parenting youth who reside in the Upper Valley
  • Case management and counseling
  • Parenting education
  • Vocational and career services
  • Day care for infants and toddlers of moms at work or school
  • Independent living skills program
